Denise L'Estrange-Corbet is the Co-Founder, Designer and CEO of New Zealand's most luxury home grown fashion brand, WORLD. 
Established in 1989 with business partner Francis Hooper, it is highly regarded as the country's most progressive, outspoken, informed and challenging fashion house.  
It is a leader and known for its 'firsts' including showing internationally at an Official Fashion Week in 1997, having  a major retrospective of their work at the Auckland Museum in 2004, and Denise being the first female fashion designer to receive an award for her work in 2002 from Queen Elizabeth II. Their collections are held at Auckland Museum, Te Papa Wellington, National Gallery of Victoria and the MCA in Sydney.
With stores all over New Zealand and stockists internationally, their philosophy is to push boundaries, and not do 'the colours of the season!'.
Denise is a published author, her autobiography, 'All that Glitters..' published by Random House was on the Bestsellers List for 2008.  She was voted the 2nd Most Trusted Woman in New Zealand by Readers Digest, was invited to speak at APEC, is an Ambassador for Diabetes Auckland and the Mental Health Foundation, works closely with the Starship Foundation and the IHC, is an Honorary Fellow of UCOL, is a Gold Elite Speaker with Celebrity Speakers, lectures students and overall is a damn fine species!!!
