Emma Parry is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a Subspecialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine with a strong background in Service Delivery and Improvement and Education for both Health Professionals and Consumers. She is also a business woman with diverse interests in health and well being in general and in women’s health and pregnancy.
Emma is based at Middlemore Hospital in New Zealand and Ascot Radiology. She was the Inaugural Clinical Director of the New Zealand Maternal Fetal Medicine Network (NZMFMN), which she established.
Emma is a regular speaker and organises conferences and workshops in Australasia and Asia. She is a recognised leader in Australasia in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine and is currently Deputy Chair of the MFM subspecialty committee of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
In 2010 Emma was awarded the Inaugural Next Woman of the Year award for her work in the development of Maternity Services. In 2013 she was a finalist in the Women of Influence Awards.
