Andrew Petersen was appointed Bell Gully chair in January 2021.
As the firm’s projects and real estate department leader, Andrew leads a large and diverse team so understands the importance of the Champions for Change vision. He is looking forward to leading the firm through its next chapter, building on the work of former chairs and providing the highest level of service to the firm’s clients.
Andrew has more than 20 years’ legal experience in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and is recognised as one of the top real estate lawyers in the country. He has also been a graduate recruitment partner and involved in the firm’s risk management, conflicts and IT committees.
