As Chief Executive of Genesis, Marc is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and management of the company. He is leading Genesis’s transformation from gen-tailer to energy management provider. Marc’s ambition for Genesis is to change the way consumers engage with energy. Achieving this means creating a workplace culture that enables inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
“Genesis is very proud of the fact that our Board has achieved gender parity and that 40 per cent of our senior leaders are women. D&I activities are actively integrated into life at Genesis. We’ve launched mental wellbeing and resilience programmes, new flexi-working and parental leave benefits and our Mind the Gap gender pay parity policy across the past 18 months. Through our partnership with Tupu Toa, we’re supporting next-gen Maori and Pasifika talent build corporate workplace experience,” says Marc.
“We’re doing this because we need the experience and insights of the best and brightest people to innovate and develop great customer solutions. Our ability to maximise the diversity and talents of all our people is key to our commercial success. Our intellectual capital needs to be as diverse as the communities where we live and work.”
