Bronwen Horton

Bronwen Horton, based in London, founded the New Zealand Business Women’s Network London (NZBWN) www.nzwomen.co.uk in 2009 and it has since become a who’s who of over 1400 women in the UK.

Bronwen’s career has been predominately within the private banking and wealth management industries providing consultancy across high level projects with many of London’s biggest banks and financial service providers. She juggles this banking career with voluntarily running NZBWN in her spare time.

In October 2011 Bronwen travelled to Washington DC to receive the prestigious International Alliance for Women – World of Difference Award. The TIAW World of Difference Award recognizes 100 extraordinary individuals from all parts of the globe whose efforts have advanced the economic empowerment of women locally, regionally or worldwide.

In 2013 she was named New Zealander of the Year – UK for setting up the New Zealand Business Women’s Network and coordinating fundraising events in the aftermath of the Canterbury Earthquakes in the UK.

Bronwen has a double degree in Law and Commerce from Canterbury University and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2003.
