Independent Director, Chair, Sue Sheldon

Sue is a professional company director, currently establishing, as Chair, Infrastructure Holdings Ltd formed by Nelson City Council and Tasman District Council to hold their airport and port assets.

Sue is a former Chair of Global Women, former president of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business. She is the former Chairman of Freightways, the establishment Chair of Chorus and has previously held directorships in RealNZ, Telecom, Contact Energy, Meridian Energy, Ngāi Tahu Holdings, Paymark and Christchurch International Airport, and is the former chair of the National Provident Fund and Regenerate Christchurch.

Sue has acted as Independent Chair of the Audit and Risk Committees for both Christchurch City and Auckland Councils.
