Biography: Talia is a senior and well-respected sales professional in the New Zealand technology industry with 25+ years’ experience. Talia is also a transgender woman having commenced her journey a little over 2 years ago.
Talia’s career started in the UK before moving to New Zealand in 1997, she has held a number of roles including General Management, Sales Management, Managing Director and direct sales. In her current role she owns the financial and commercial strategy for significant deals within Spark NZ, a role specifically created to harness her unique skills.
Talia has degrees in Computer Science, Economics and Ancient History which is a passion of hers, in fact she has spent several months working on archaeological sites in Egypt.
Talia is a strong advocate for mental health issues and gender equality both within and outside her workplace and is an active member of both Spark’s Diversity and Pride squads.
